was hard to overcome the complexity of the names of previous editions of Ubuntu, but Mark Shuttleworth has again achieved by announcing the name of the future autumn edition of the Canonical distro that Ubuntu 12.10 be called Quetzal quantal .
Quetzal arrive on October 8, 2012 and WIN will do with cosmetic changes : a new version of the theme and typography, a new iconography and “perhaps a new form factor that takes off” ( ¿smartphones, tablets?). In fact, Shuttleworth makes it clear that Brown left behind to make way for something “colorful light”.
In fact, quantal Quetzal initiate a cycle of four editions of Ubuntu Ubuntu 4.14 LTS will culminate in something that will benefit just to freshen the look of Ubuntu. We look forward to these intentions of Canonical, which as you know very soon release the final version of Ubuntu 4.12 LTS.
Incidentally, for those who ye know that is a quezal -beyond-Photo: wikipedia to the rescue. The breath of the announcement we received from our fellow MuyComputer, who have been “the bird” (pun intended, though not exactly the same)
