Intel just launched a tool to install easily the latest versions of your graphics drivers , at the moment only for Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 and Fedora 17 and 18.
The objective of microchips giant is offering users of Ubuntu and Fedora an easy way to keep your drivers up to date Intel graphics cards, and in fact the latest version of them comes with improvements benefit the gaming experience through Steam , among others.
new Intel installer will automatically add a repository , so the driver updates will be obtained as it exits. Definitely a thank movement by the company that we hope to open to other distributions.
However, there are problems that particularly affect users Ubuntu 64-bit, which is strongly recommended NOT to use the installer still at risk of “breaking” the system .
