At this point in the film do not think it takes to tell anyone what is that of The Humble Bundle, but just in case, on this link you will find all the details. The interesting point is that this promotion is repeated occasionally offering DRM-free platform games for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and more recently Android , is turning into deeper water.
remember that, despite the initiative thanks, I have complained occasionally cut “sacachavos” that has slowly been showing The Humble Bundle : a good selection of forced games to issues with a couple of prominent titles and ullage, or completing offers with the same games forever. Moreover, in their latest editions for Android, you could download games also for Windows, Mac and Linux, there were games that were not available to our system.
however, have gone further, and the latest edition of The Humble Bundle, called The Humble Bundle THQ, passes full of principles that seemed to be the driving force of the initiative. That is, have gone from the platform, the “DRM free” and have launched a promotion focused not only on Windows, Steam exclusively with commercial cut sets of a commercial firm and of course DRM .
The truth is that the package is not bad (I’ve only played Metro 2033, but by that title and worth it), but have quickly come to the launch criticism of it, accusing makers sold initiative. Because, yes, still tinged solidarity initiative , but it seems that it is increasingly easy to skip the principles that began (in between the Humble Bundle and Indie contained one such).
The response
The Humble Bundle (response template, which have sent to all users who have been in contact with them) is as follows:
While we realize the Humble Bundle THQ is different from the above packages, we do know that this is only one of many Bundles are going to do. Definitely not give up on us deliver stunning platform, DRM, and we believe that the following will be very exciting (PS … is Humble Indie Bundle 7!). We even within the company hired people to carry ported to Linux and Mac games full time!
So all is not gold that glitters, nor is all black. My opinion is that some have abused the reception they had their first editions to thrive, which does not have to be negative … for now. What do you think?
